Eat less, fddle more!

At our festival and retreats, we have decided to only have two large communal meals a day. This decision was made for several important reasons:
First of all, it saves time. Eating three large meals a day would take up more of our valuable time for sessions, workshops and shared experiences. Reducing communal meals to two per day allows us to spend more time on the activities that are truly important to us and strengthen our sense of community.
Secondly, eating less is good for the environment and our health. By reducing the number of meals, we reduce the consumption of resources and the ecological footprint of our events. At the same time, eating less promotes a healthy lifestyle and helps to avoid overconsumption.
Thirdly, it is good for our bodies. Eating less often slows down the metabolism, which leads to less fatigue and an overall better sense of well-being. Our bodies have more time to digest food and use energy more efficiently.

However, no one should feel hungry. In the morning, muesli, fruit and other delicacies will be provided for those who do not like to start the day with an empty stomach. The first shared meal will be brunch, around 11 or 12 o'clock, and the second meal will be dinner.

We will make sure that you can eat according to your own needs, and you can have a snack if you like, for example during a coffee or tea break. But we save a big meal together.
Overall, this change will enable us to make better use of our time, live more sustainably and improve our health. We hope that this new practice will help create a more intense and fulfilling festival and retreat experience for everyone.
