Today, we would like to give you a little insight into who is currently supporting us and where we still need helping hands in 2026.
Our volunteer team behind the scenes
The following people regularly help us with the many organizational tasks:

Our growing volunteer pool
Since our last article in March 2025, our volunteer community has grown significantly. Currently supporting us:
In the east: approx. 10 men from the Berlin area and 2 from Czechia
In the west: approx. 5 men from the Cologne area (plus 1 from the UK)
In the north: 3 men from Hamburg/Sweden
In the south: 5 men (including two from Austria)
It's wonderful to see how our community is connecting across countries and regions!
Where we still need support for events in 2026
We are still looking for reinforcements for upcoming events:
WHOLE Festival (July 17-20, Ferropolis):
The “Ayurvedic Gaylovespirit” stand is a joint initiative by Gay Love Spirit and Marc and Uwe. Here, we cook for lots of hungry festival visitors!
We still need: Helpers for setting up and dismantling, preferably handymen
Support during the festival (kitchen, sales)
Here's how it works: You can either help out for 3-5 hours each day of the festival, or concentrate on one day and celebrate the rest. In return, you will receive a ticket worth €279 and free food & drink at our stand throughout the festival.
For the Summer Evolution festival, we still need someone who can translate English into German, and possibly 1-2 more helpers.
For the Community Retreat (August 11-16, Spitzmühle), we still need helpers during the retreat and also for dismantling.
The same applies to the Winter Retreat (December 27 – January 2).
How does it work?
If you help with setting up or dismantling, you can enjoy most of the festival/retreat for free. If you prefer to be active during the event, there are also some exciting tasks to do. We often need someone in the individual workshops and sessions, also as a partner, so that we can create a group size divisible by 2 or 4. Otherwise, there are things like tidying up, sound checks, kitchen work, making fires, etc.
Here is our offer: a free festival ticket worth 395 euros or a retreat ticket worth 695 euros, and we will take care of your accommodation (tent or group room) so you only pay for food.
To ensure that everything runs smoothly, there is a helper coordinator for every task – this makes teamwork easy and connecting.

Additionally, we would be happy to hear from lawyers for our plans to establish a non-profit association, IT-savvy people (including programming a Telegram channel, in which we want to integrate the existing group).
